Inspirationen

Schwer beschäftigt bin ich zur Zeit, mit färben, spinnen, stricken und, und, und. Nicht nur allein Amerika war sehr inspirieren. Ich stecke im Moment in meiner Kreativphase und würde am liebsten Tage erfinden die mehr als nur 24 Stunden haben. Nichts desto Trotz möchte ich heute mal nur einen kleinen Teil von dem zeigen was ich in der Zwischenzeit so produziert habe.



Inspirations


I am very busy at the time with dyeing, spinning, knitting, and much more.
Not only the vacations were inspiring. In the moment I'm totally in my creative phase, and would prefer to invent days which have more than 24 hours. Nevertheless, today’s I want only show a small part of that what I produced in the meantime.

Der Anlass dazu ist, dass ich vorgestern mit meine ersten selbstgefärbten und versponnen Sockenwolle ein Sockenpärchen gekurbelt habe und das sogar mit meinem heißgeliebten 84er Zylinder. Ganze 100 Gramm habe ich versponnen dafür und für das Gesocks habe ich genau 90 Gramm benötigt.



The real cause is, two days ago I have cranked my first pair of sock, from wool which I have dyed and spun on my own. And I could make these socks with my beloved 84 cylinder. I have spun 100 grams and for the couple I needed exactly 90 grams.

Da ich keinerlei Färberei Erfahrungen mit Spinnstoff habe, war dann dieses Wollvlies mein erstes Färbeopfer. Leider weiß ich nicht von welchem Schaf die Wolle ist, da ich es geschenkt bekommen habe. Frei nach dem Motto, wenn es in die Hose geht dann sollte es halt nicht sein.



Because I have no experience dyeing spin stuff so this wool fleece here was my first sacrifice. Unfortunately, I don't know the kind of sheep from that wool, because I got it as a gift. True to the motto, if it goes in the pants then that's not the way it should be.
Not just I'm alone was thrilled, immediately one of my cats has confiscated it. So now I have wool with 0,0001% cat hair.

Nicht alleine nur ich bin davon begeistert, es wurde mit Inbrunst sofort auch von einer meiner Katzen in Beschlag genommen. Jetzt ist es halt Spinnwolle mit 0,0001 % Katzenhaar.


Ja, und weil das Spielen mit Farben einfach soviel Spass macht:
Diese Wolle ist vom Gotland Schaf und in natura hellgrau und aus diesem schönen Material soll dann irgendwann mal ein feines Tüchlein gestrickt werden. (Wenn der Tag dann 48 Stunden hat.)



Yeah, because playing with colors makes so much fun:
This wool is from Gotland sheep and in nature bright grey. I'll like to knit a nice shawl out of it. (When the day has 48 hours.)



Zum Schluss für heute noch eine Mix aus weißem Massam und einer Mischwolle aus Merino, Bambus und Sojabohnen. Total kuschelig und einfach nur schön.



Last for today here a mix from white Masham and blend from merino, soybean and bamboo. It’s extremely fluffy and only simply beautiful.





Nun verschwinde ich ganz schnell wieder in die Versenkung, da steht seit gestern morgen so ein Kistchen von Wollpoldi mit dieser hammermässigen Putzwolle......

Quickly I'll disappear from the scene, since yesterday morning stands a small box in the corridor, it's from Wollpoldi, with very awesome "Putzwolle".... (This wool is collected from cleaning and leftover from the carder machines)
